Our Usher Teams serve the same week every month on Sunday mornings from 8:40 a.m. to approximately 11:50 a.m. Not only do they serve the body in a wide variety of ways but serving the same week each month provides opportunities for building relationships with one another.
Some of the duties include handing out worship materials, help with seating, collecting and counting the offering, ensuring pew backs are filled with necessary materials, keeping an eye on the foyer for anyone needing assistance, etc. If there is a shortage of communion servers on any given Sunday, ushers may be asked to assist with distribution. The efforts of our ushers help our community experience the sacredness and joy of a worship gathering.
