Sarah’s roots go back to Apple Valley, MN. In 2002 she relocated to Fargo to attend NDSU and graduated with a Child Development & Family Science degree. She has worked in childcare, preschool, and business office roles.
Sarah has been attending and serving with Children’s Ministry at Salem since 2004 after recommitting her life to Christ. In 2007, Sarah was hired as a part-time Children’s Pastor Assistant. With Salem’s growth her job has expanded, and she is now the full-time Children’s Ministry Director. Sarah’s passion for working with children comes from the desire to be the kind of adult she needed as a child, so she can point kids to Jesus.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys watching Twins baseball & Bison football with friends, visiting her niece and nephews as much as possible, and playing euphonium. She enjoys being outside year-round; walking, biking, camping, and especially running. Sarah has one four-legged child named Pip, an adorable (and spoiled) Jack Russel/Rat Terrier who thinks she owns the bed.
