LIVING LIVES OF LOVE with God, in community, on mission

Global Outreach

We recognize that God has a mission. He has established the Church to fulfill His mission of making disciples of all nations/people groups (Mt 24:14, 28:18-20; Acts 1:8) and teaching them to obey everything He has commanded.

Salem’s Missions ministry seeks to extend Salem’s gospel reach beyond our immediate sphere of influence and beyond barriers of culture, language or geography.

Our purpose is to help establish and strengthen disciple making movements among the nations that result in culturally relevant churches being planted to the glory of God.

Our 32 mission partners can be found in 12 countries on 5 continents around the world and working with one of 17 organizations that are also passionate about God’s global mission.

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” Matthew 24:14

Salem’s mission is to live lives of love with God, in community, and on mission.

Brao People Group

Joshua Project Link

In 2002 Salem began to explore the possibilities of partnering with mission organizations, missionaries and other churches in reaching an un-reached people group with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In 2005 Salem, in partnership with one of Salem’s member families and Bethel Church, began our formal commitment to do all that God enabled us to do in pursuit of the tribal Brao people for the glory of God. Today, by the grace of God, there is a growing number of disciples and small church plants in various tribal villages in N.E. Cambodia. Bible translation work is in process and numerous missionaries and mission organizations are working together to see disciples made in Rattanakiri province of Cambodia.

El Chonco, Nicaragua – Church to Church Partnership in rural Nicaragua

In 2012 Salem began seeking the Lord for a potential “church to church” partnership in our hemisphere that would be a mutual blessing and a catalyst for an increased passion for making disciples in that community and in our Metro. It became clear to the Salem leadership that a small church plant in El Chonco, Nicaragua and the Nicaraguan Resource Network (NRN) was where the Lord was leading us. In 2014 we sent our first official Salem team to work with the NRN and Pastor Cristobal in El Chonco, Nicaragua.
