Palm Sunday
9:00 & 10:30 am
When Jesus entered Jerusalem, strolling in on a donkey, it says that the entire city was stirred! The people waved palm branches and cheered him as king! And yet in his heart Jesus knew that what the people needed was far more important than what the people wanted.
Join us for Palm Sunday as we explore Jesus' ride into the city, the prophecies surrounding the Messiah, & the people's expectations. We'll see how Jesus set his face towards his death, unwilling to run from his greatest purpose: to bring us back to right relationship with God, through the forgiveness of sins, which would ultimately mean his death on the cross.
Good Friday
6:30 pm
On the night of Jesus' betrayal and arrest, Jesus spent the night in the Garden of Gethsemane praying. It was there, staring at an olive press, that he likely was anticipating what was about to transpire.
Join us for our Good Friday service as we seek to understand and reflect in fresh ways how Jesus confronted and engaged with the brokenness of the world and how we fit in His plan. The service will be broken into four parts. Each part will explore the significance of different olive pressings, have a scripture reading, guided reflection & prayer, and a worship song. The service will end with an interactive communion.
All ages are welcome to attend the service.
Easter Sunday
7:00, 9:00, 10:30 am
Hallelujah! He is risen!
Come celebrate Christ's resurrection, our source of hope & joy. Our services are a mix of traditional and contemporary music, with the 7:00 am sunrise service having a bit more traditional hymns than the later services. Families will have the opportunity to celebrate Easter together in the service.
We will also have an Easter egg hunt for kids, a photo booth, and plenty of coffee & donuts for all!
7:00 am - in person
9:00 am - in person
10:30 am - in person & online
When do i need to get there?
Arriving about 15-20 minutes early will give you time to park, walk in, and find a place to sit in the Worship Center. Feel free to come earlier if you want to sit somewhere specific, or would like a few extra minutes to grab a cup of coffee or tea on your way in.
what should i wear?
Wear what is comfortable for you. God doesn’t care whether you are formal or casual - He looks at the heart! Our teaching team dresses pretty casual to set the environment for anyone who joins us.
What is the worship service like?
We always start with a welcome followed by some announcements. We have a special spotlight, whether a video, prayer, etc. Then the worship team leads us in singing, followed by teaching from God’s Word. We want our teaching to be accurate, relevant, personal, engaging, & simple. We end with a song and closing (lasting a total of 60-70 mins).
Is there something for my kids?
Kids are welcome in the Worship Center during the Good Friday & Easter services. To give our wonderful children's volunteers the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with their family, we will not be offering nursery or children's classes this week. After the 9:00 & 10:30 services, our Children's Pastor & Children's Director will have an Easter Egg hunt in the lawn for the kids.
Are you nervous about your kids being a distraction? It'll be okay! We suggest sitting towards the front of the church so they can see what is going on during the service. We have church activity pages and crayons available in the Foyer, but you may also want to bring a snack or small activity for them. If you do need to step out, it's perfectly okay - the service will be streamed in the Foyer. We encourage you to bring your kids so they can participate in our church worship.
