We’re glad you’re thinking about attending a worship service at Salem! We strive to be a multicultural, relevant church, where people of all ages want to be.
We have a rich community built around the phrase “struggle well.” We believe that everyone has struggles, but few people struggle well. To struggle well is to point myself, or anyone else, in any given moment, no matter the depth, to the overflowing forgiveness and love found only in Jesus Christ. Our community is a group of people learning to follow Jesus together. Whoever you are, whatever your struggle, you are welcome at Salem.
Salem has two Sunday morning worship services (9:00am and 10:30am) as well as an online service streaming live at 10:30am. We want our Sunday services to be a place where people of all ages & ethnicities want to be. We sincerely hope you will come and worship with us this Sunday!
WHen Do I need to get there?
Feel free to arrive about 10-15 minutes early. Check out the Salem Hub or Kid's Ministry or whatever interests you. We are a friendly group and we'd love to meet you. We have coffee, tea and cocoa every Sunday morning.
Where do i park?
We have a parking lot that has plenty of spaces on all sides of the building. There are entrances on every side of the church, with signage to help you find your way inside.
What should i wear?
Wear what is comfortable for you. God doesn’t care whether you are formal or casual - He looks at the heart! Our teaching team dresses pretty casual to set the environment for anyone who joins us.
What is the worship service like?
We always start with a welcome followed by some announcements. We have a special spotlight, whether a video, prayer, etc. Then the worship team leads us in singing, followed by teaching from God’s Word. We want our teaching to be accurate, relevant, personal, engaging, & simple. We end with a song and closing (lasting a total of 60-70 mins). People gather afterwards to connect, hopefully for a lunch together!
