Youth Missions

Spreading the Gospel in the FM Area & Beyond!

Mission Levels

We heartily encourage our youth toward participation in missions, that they might grow a deeper love for God and His people. The Missions Board has established the following 4-level hierarchy for student involvement:

Level 1 - Gospel Presentation.

Every student starts their missions experience by presenting the Gospel message to a staff member as practice sharing their faith with others.

Level 2 - Local Missions Experience.

LME 2023 - Serving at Camp Joy!

Intended for youth in grades 7-8, this level involves serving with the SalemKids ministry through Summer Blast for a week in the summer. Youth work in the mornings and assist at various work service projects in the afternoon.

Additionally, students stay overnight at NDSU during the week, an experience meant to confirm their ability to stay away from home and be a vital part of a ministry team.

Level 2 requirements can also be fulfilled through approved opportunities at camps or other ministries.

Level 3 - Greater U.S. Missions Trip.

Laredo, TX - GUSME 2023

Upon completion of Level 2, youth in grades 8-12 are invited to serve with an inner-city ministry in a large U.S. city. Previous trips have taken place to Denver, San Diego, and Nashville.

Level 4 - Overseas.

Youth in grades 11-12 who have completed levels 1-3 are encouraged to participate in an international missions trip with a church-wide ministry team or a para-church organization.
