Hospitality Ministries

The friendly and generous reception of visitors

“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” – Romans 12:12–13

Hospitality doesn't just happen at the home, but also at church. Hospitality Ministries are the church's first impression of friendliness and kindness.

At Salem we strive to be welcoming to all who enter our doors. Volunteers who serve as greeters, ushers, coffee servers and at the Connection Center have a unique opportunity to show love and kindness to all they come in contact with. With just a smile, warm hello, helping someone find a place to sit we can make a person's day just a little bit brighter and go home feeling loved and cared for.

If showing hospitality brings you joy and warms your heart, please check out the ministries below!
