Our kids join together from September 20 through April 24, for Wednesday evening children’s programming for preschool through 6th grade.

Kindergarten - 6th Grade

We will be traveling through the book of Daniel this fall and exploring how to live in a world of broken kingdoms with our eyes on the King of Kings. With eyes fixed on the promises of God we will learn what it looks like to love God and love others right where God has placed us.

Teaching is divided between the older and younger elementary students. Each evening consists of a large group time, small group time, and gym games. During their grade-specific small group time, they will dive in a little deeper as they figure out how these Biblical truths look in their own lives. We will be using CAVE TABLE ROAD as a way to help kids grow to be more like Jesus.

• Cave Time will be the take home sheets each child will receive at the end of the night. Please encourage you kids to take time in God's Word using their Cave Time sheet to meet with God and learn more about Him and how He intends for us to live. There are weekly verses kids can memorize as well to earn points towards prizes!
• Table Time will be the time the kids spend in their small groups with you discussing the night's lesson and sharing what they are learning. 
• Road Time will be given as a ROAD CHALLENGE to the kids each week. This will be an opportunity to live out what they are learning in in God's Word. Kids will have opportunities to share their Road Challenges and celebrate how God is working in their lives, changing them from the INSIDE OUT. This is a model we use here at Salem to move towards following Jesus and living out our faith.

Awana Cubbies

This is a 2-year program for children who are one or two years away from starting Kindergarten. The evening is filled with verse memorization, songs, stories, and book time. Children must be at least 3 years-old on or before September 1st of the current school year.
