Finding Joy

We frequently think about joy as being happy or getting what we want, or having things go our way. But joy is much deeper and transcendent than that. Joy isn’t necessarily being happy when circumstances dictate despair or sadness. Joy is more about trust and hope. Trusting that our God cares for and loves us and that his ways are good and that he is always at work, even when we struggle to make sense of our situation. Setting our eyes on Jesus and the hope and peace he provides.
