An Invitation to Remember

When Jesus shared the last supper with his disciples, he proclaimed that his shed blood would inaugurate a new covenant, and that he would be the sacrifice for Christ-followers' sins. It's easy for communion to become another routine part of a church service, but let us not forget how it is an invitation to remember the depth of our depravity and the unfathomable magnitude of God's grace.
