Depart from Salem at 8:15am
Join others from Salem for a Saturday outside along some of Minnesota"s beautiful rail-to-trail areas near Park Rapids. The mixed-use trail is entirely located on a level abandoned railway route. This makes for a smooth and fairly flat forested ride - ideal for riders of any skill level.
Helmets are required for all riders.
Route
An out and back ride on the Heartland Trail. This is paved, mostly flat, and beautiful.

Itinerary
8:15 am: Meet at Salem to organize ride sharing.
8:30 am: Leave for Park Rapids, MN.
10:00 am: Meet up at Heartland Park in Park Rapids to unload bikes, gear and regroup.
10:30 am: Ride the Heartland Trail.
12:00 pm: Meet in Dorset for lunch at Companeros.
1:00 pm: Ride back to Park Rapids.
2:00 pm: Return to Fargo.
8:30 am: Leave for Park Rapids, MN.
