The heart of the Visitation Ministry at Salem is the ministry of presence – to be there for those who need encouragement, comfort and a reminder of God’s faithfulness. We are there representing not only Salem, but more importantly, representing God, being His hands and feet.
If you have a heart for the hurting and the lonely, God has gifted you for this type of ministry. You would be part of a team who visits or calls the homebound, people awaiting surgery, the hospitalized and widows/widowers in partnership with Salem’s Care Team. You would be able to choose an area of visitation with which you feel most comfortable, or you could choose all areas!
